This is the first painting in my Goddess series. This is Kali, the feisty Hindu goddess who pushes people beyond their comfort zone. I plan to do exactly that with this painting. The end result will contain a striking cobra and one of her husbands severed heads. Although I have a plan, Kali may end up sending me somewhere completely different in the mean time, who knows?
